Centre for Contemplative Judaism
WHO WE ARE
Maayan Hatum: Centre for Contemplative Judaism was founded by Rabbi Daniel J Gigi MA (author on the Ecstatic Kabbalah and exponent of the Hasidic School of Izhbitsa-Radzyn) as a forum for revitalising Jewish spiritual life through:
Contemplative Education. Sharing the wisdom of Judaism's contemplative teachings.
Contemplative Community. Providing fellowship for kindred spirits in mindful pursuit.
Contemplative Spaces. Creating spaces and opportunities for contemplative practice.
WHAT WE DO
Wisdom. Community. Space.
Sharing the Journey
Building an in-person and online fellowship of meditators and spiritual aspirants. Sharing our struggles and challenges, and supporting each other in personal growth.
Finding the Source
Maayan Hatum offers classes, workshops and resources from Judaism's contemplative traditions in general, and from 7 key schools in particular: Maimonides and the Maimonidean Sufis, the Ecstatic and Lurianic Kabbalah, Hasidism in general and the school of Izhbitsa-Radzyn in particular, as well as the vast Musar literature.
